What is SAFE?
In 2018 The Sisters of St. Martha sponsored a new project called Sober and Friendly Environment commonly known as SAFE located in downtown Charlottetown.
The Director of SAFE is Sister Laura Kelly who has assistance from a great number of volunteers.

SAFE is a place for adults, particularly young adults, to socialize with others in the evening hours without the pull of drugs or alcohol in a relaxing atmosphere.
We attempt to support recovery through connections and activities. We welcome individuals to come when they are clean of drugs and alcohol so others feel safe.
If you are interested in addictions recovery (or are young enough not to have developed an addiction yet and wanting to keep it that way), this may be the place for you.
